RMUTP with RTA Chemical Department develop Thai Armaments

 

On December 9, 2022, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) and the Royal Thai Army Chemical Department, Royal Thai Army agreed to build cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Research and Academic Collaboration for supporting academic, research, short course training, and human resource development. The MOU was signed by Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, president of RMUTP, and Maj. Gen. Ruangsak Khaenkumchorn, RTA Chemical Department Director General at RTA Chemical Department Association. This occasion also had an exhibition from the Faculty of Engineering and Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotic Institute (DIRI), RMUTP.

Dr. Natworapol said that our present and future will be improved by leaps and bounds. All research and development processes will be another key for our country’s development to support and improve army armaments such as weapons, vehicles, instruments, army uniforms, etc. Moreover, this MOU will encourage research competency in army human resources, knowledge transferring, and using science and technology to improve the quality of army armaments to have its security and reach an international standard.
