Outstanding Students (Phet Rajamangala) together with the alumni association and local people brought consumption and medicines to help flood victims in Bangplad community, Watdusitdaram community as well as joining many activities; for instance, making life jackets from plastic bottles and food bags, collecting donated things from people and making EM Balls.
Recently, Mr. Chaiyos Hemarajata, the Chair of RMUTP council and Assoc. Prof. Duangsuda Taechotirote, RMUTP President, and administrators donated hundred thousand baht to the Princess-pa-foundation, Thai Red Cross Society to help the flood victims.
Faculty of Home Economics Technology led by Students Affair Division arranged the project called “Chotiwet Volunteer, flood victims” to help people who faced with flooding in the central part at Phanomrok sub district, Tah tako district, Nakonsawan province on 9-11 October 2011. 800 meal boxes and 800 living bags were brought to these victims.
On 29 October 2011, teachers and students from Faculty of Mass Communication Technology together with the alumni of Advertising program, Faculty of Business Administration helped packing rice and food to donate to people who faced with flooding at Wat Tah Sung, Bangsai district, Ayutthaya province.
On 9 November 2011,Faculty of Home Economics Technology and Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture taught how to make the banana leave vessels for 1,000 people suffering from flood at the flood relief center in Physical Education College, Chonburi province in order to reduce their stress.
Faculty of Industrial Education invited students to produce 100,000 E.M. balls to fight with flooding, under the project called “E.M. for 84 thousand balls and 84 thousand liters for flood victims” on 16-18 November 2011 at Mungkut Vej building. This project was done by Mungkut Klao hospital and the office of Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment.
On 20 November 2011, the Faculty of Business Administration and Thai Military helped the flood victims by bringing them food and drinks in Bangphai sub-district, Mueng district, Nonthaburi led by Asst. Prof. Varapun Moongvicha, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and volunteers.
After the great flooding 2011 in many areas of Thailand and Bangkok, it caused a big damage. Faculty of Liberal Arts needed to relieve all trouble by asking for donation during November-December and added up the money to sell products in “Beloved things with Concern for the Victim” project to help flooding people.
Faculty of Architecture and design organized the project called “Architecture Helped Flooding Victims 2011” on the Occasion of King’s 84th Birthday Anniversary at Wat Jomkate, Bangpahun, Ayutthaya.
On 30 November 2011, students and teachers of the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology together with TPBS volunteers gave happiness to Don Muang people by building wood bridge in flooding area in Don Muang Airport for 2 km. Besides, they helped keep litter and clean Yoocharoen Village in Don Muang.
