RMUTP Staff Awards

Asst. Prof. Chuta Peeraphatchara, director of Institute of Research and Development, representing RMUTP received the Tonkla Archeep award from Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva.

Tonkla Archeep is the Government’s project that aims to increase the efficiency and skills of the workforce by providing vocational training. After participating in the project, RMUTP was able to share its knowledge and experience to communities and create job opportunity for its people.

RMUTP Clinic Technology received the excellent clinic technology award presented by Dr. Sujinda Chotipanich, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology, at Prince Palace Hotel on 30 August 2010.  In 2010, there were a total of 42 recipients of the clinic technology award.

Mr. Tinnakorn  Jankrajang, a lecturer from the Faculty of Engineering received the teacher award 2010 from Mr. Chinnaworn Boonyakiat, Minister of Education,  at Royal Thai Air Force Academy.

Mr. Tinnakorn  Jankrajang is dedicated to his work of promoting transparency in examinations, anti-plagiarism and being strict to student disciplines.

RMUTP would like to extend its congratulations to Mr. Pongsak Chaturanakhakul, Deputy Director of Institute of Research and Development and a lecturer from the Faculty of Engineering, on his success in receiving an award for his product that aids the disabled.           The award was presented by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on the International Day for Persons with Disabilities at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani on 3 December 2010.

Mr. Pongsak’s products:  Modular Below Knee, Modular Above Knee and Cable – controlled Hook, are the assistive devices that support the independent living of disabled persons. However, the award ceremony was held by the National Office for Empowerment of Persons with Disability, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to increase awareness of disability issues.

Mr. Chanon Tunprawat, a lecturer from the Faculty of Architecture and Design received the ceramic industry award bestowed by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the 15th National Ceramics Exhibition held in 2010. The awarded product was called “Ceramic Block” which is used to prevent the heat from entering the building. The product will save energy and reduce overall costs to the building.

The 15th National Ceramics Exhibition was organized by Silpakorn University, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Industry. The exhibition aimed to promote traditional Thai ceramics products and the development of ceramics production technology.

RMUTP was awarded “Excellence Quality Assurance the year of 2010” from the Office of the Higher Education Commission. Assoc. Prof. Duangsuda  Taechotirote received the plaque from Mr. Chinnaworn  Boonyakiat, Minister of Education at Bankok Convention Center, Central Ladpraw.

RMUTP was a 1 of 4 educational institutions nationwide that received the reward in quality assurance. These universities included; Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Mahanakorn University of Technology, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Ratchaburi, and University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.

The “RMUTP Model” was used in quality management. It focused on the process of managerial education which was used in everyday work. In addition; RMUTP connected a network of both institutes and personnel all of which were controlled by chief executive control and the head of the institutes responsible for operation.

This award showed that RMUTP had quality administration in throughout its  level. There were committees who were also appointed by RMUTP Council to follow up and evaluate the university. And it will encourage the administrators, teaching and supporting staff feel completed to continually strive to improve the quality education at RMUTP.
