RMUTP Student Awards

Students from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology received three awards in the field of flower arrangement on King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day held at Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram (Marble Temple) from 22-23 October 2010.

Mr. Akaraphol Waichiangkha, a student majoring in Home Economics Business Administration, Faculty of Home Economics Technology, was granted “National Outstanding Youth Award 2010” in art and culture by Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. The award ceremony was held at Bangkok Youth Center (Thai-Japan) on 20 September 2010.

Miss Panchanok Limsakul, a student from the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology received 100,000 baht from participating in the Konthai Hua Kati Quiz Show broadcasting on Modernine TV on 9 October 2010.

Konthai Hua Kati is the quiz show that focuses on local wisdom innovation, environmental issues and eco-friendly technologies. This program has promoted a better understanding of Thai living and its exposure to modernity based on sufficiency economic principles.

Students from the Faculty of Home Economics and Technology won the gold medal of vegetable and fruit carving. Other teams from the same faculty also won two silver medals and five bronze medals. The awards were presented at the Thailand International Culinary Cup 2010 held at Royal Paragon Hall.

The Faculty of Industrial Textiles won the woven textile award from the Discovery Doi Tung for Cotto Design Contest of Sustainable Design Camp 2010 presented at Grand Hall, Siam Discovery Center. The champions were students majoring in Textile Product Design. This is a second year in a row that the team was placed 1st.

Congratulations to By Part Team from RMUTP on placing in fourth place (economical Formula One Car) at the Honda Econo Power Contest held at Shanghai International Circuit, China from 16-21 September 2010.

By Part Team was selected by A.P. Honda Co., Ltd. to enter the competition in Shanghai after achieving the second highest top speed in motor racing at the 12th Honda Econo Power Contest in Thailand.  In 2010, the total number of economical Formula One Cars competing in the venue was 92.
