On November 25, 2016, Assoc. Prof. Supatra Kosaiyakanont, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, warmly welcomed Lunghwa Univerisity of Science and Technology delegates led by Mrs. Ru-Jen Lin, Vice-President, and Ms. Sissi Ho, Project Manager of International Exchange Center, at the Office of President, Thewet campus.
The purposes of the visit are (1) to renew the late memorandum of understanding which was signed in 2012 (2) to sign the 2+2 agreement concerning student exchange and (3) to discuss the possible academic collaboration between the two institutes with the members of three faculties of RMUTP—Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Liberal Arts, and Faculty of Science and Technology.
Lunghwa University of Science and Technology was established in 1969 and later gained the university status in 2001. At present, LHU offers courses in engineering, management and humanities and design from bachelor to Ph.D. With the reputation, LHU currently has more than 10,000 students including 800 international students across the globe—South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam and Malaysia.
