RMUTP joins “Destination Thailand” at Yong-Dundas Square, Canada

On this occasion, Prof. Chaiyos Hemarajata, President of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Supatra Kosaiyakanont, Acting President of RMUTP, Asst. Prof. Chayapat Kee-ariyo, Dean of Faculty of Home Economic Technology and lecturers from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology and the Faculty of Business Administration were invited by His Excellency Mr. Pisan Manawapat, the Thai Ambassador to Canada to join “Destination Thailand,” a Thai festival held at Yong-Dundas Square in Canada. The Faculty of Home Economics Technology exhibited cultural items such as Thai fruit and vegetable carving, gold and metallic plate embossing, Thai flower decorations, souvenirs made from Thai cloth and a concert of Thai stringed instruments. The purpose of this exhibition was to promote not only the Thai culture and its traditions, but also to benefit the Thai economy and publicize the work of our departments to foreigners.
