“The 5th RMUTP International Conference: Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development: the road towards a green future”
HRH Princess Soamsawali presided over the opening ceremony of “The 5th RMUTP International Conference: Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development: the road towards a green future” held by Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon on July 17-18, 2014 at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Viroch Impithuksa, Acting President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), said that “this international conference is to focus on the concept of science, technology and innovation for sustainable development which aims at the green growth, to publicly show the researches and academic work of academicians, researchers and students, also to exchange and learn experiences and to brainstorm for new ideas which are able to be the solution of environmental problems and to develop the collaboration network of academicians and researchers and finally to make RMUTP well known domestically and internationally. So, RMUTP has invited Thai and international academicians to publicly show the academic articles about science, technology and innovation for sustainable development which are published domestically and internationally.”
This conference consists of the special lecture of Thai and foreign lecturers, the presentation of academic articles and researches, the exhibitions in environmental conservation and study tour. There are many interesting academic articles and researches such as Sustainability Science, Environmental Issues and Assessment, Green Materials Science and Alternative Energy, Green Product Innovation, Sustainability Agriculture Development and Nutrition, Sustainability Governance and Transformation, Green Business and Ecosystem Services and Education for Sustainable Development. At the evening, there is welcome party which has a concert of RMUTP band, a Thai Folk Dance and a fashion show of RMUTP students.
