RMUTP hosted iSTEM-Ed 2022

Associate Professor Dr. Nattachote Rugthaicharoencheep, Vice-President for  Academic Affairs and Faculty Development, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) accompanied by Associate Professor Dr. Athikom Roeksabutr, President of Electrical Engineering Academic Association (EEAAT) (Thailand) presided over “the 7th International STEM Education Conference (iSTEM-Ed)” under the theme of ‘STEM Education for Sustainable Development and Lifelong Learning at Sukhothai Treasure Resort and Spa, Sukhothai. The international conference opened opportunities for students, academics, and engineers to exchange and integrate ideas from their experiences, knowledge, and techniques in the learning and teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) that will affect the quality development of global education.

At this time, RMUTP was honored by 3 prestigious are Professor ‪Mattias Lindahl, Lecturer of Environmental Technology and Management, Department of Management and Engineering (IEI), Linköping University (LiU), Sweden with the topic titled “A sustainable future: EcoDesign and Product Service Systems (PSS)” as when he was chief of Swedish Technical Expert Committee for the ISO 14006 (2001) EcoDesign standard. Professor Jay K. Rosengard, Director of the Harvard University Thai Studies Program,  Ash Center for Democratic Governance, and Innovation, Harvard Kennedy School, the U.S.A with the topic titled “Public Policy, Economics, and Higher education”. Professor Hang Lee, Department of Business Administration, College of Management, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, P.R. China with the topic titled “Technology Innovation and Education Reform.”

During the conference, there was an articles presentation, high-school students’ scientific proposals, and a workshop on Qualitative Research in STEM Education which is an exchange on international qualitative research led by  Associate Professor Anders Berglund, Computing Education Research Professor, Uppsala University, Sweden, Mr. Jake Reardon, Project Manager, European Union project, University of Southern Denmark, Denmark, and Professor Mats Daniels, Computing Education Research, Uppsala University, Sweden.
