RMUTP signed MOU with 2 companies establish bilateral academic services

On August 18, 2022, the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, accompanied by Mr. Pongsak Jindasuk, Managing Director of Asahi-Thai Alloy Co., Ltd, and Dr.  Annop Piyasinchart, Managing Director of D-Bic Co., Ltd agreed to build cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on curriculum and academic service development for producing high competency manpower to serve the industrial sector. The MOU signing ceremony took place at Rabi bhadana Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Rabi Bhadanasak Building (Office of the President), RMUTP, Thewet Campus.

Dr. Natworapol said that research and manpower development is a key to Thai industrial performance development. RMUTP cooperated with Asahi-Thai Alloy co., Ltd and D-Bic Co., Ltd for curriculum development and encourage students to learn through experiences by using real workspaces and laboratories to design and produce knowledge-integrated products through Work-integrated Learning (WIL) and Problem Based Learning which they can build on their basic industrial skill development. Moreover, this cooperation may support our faculties to use an innovation producing their learning equipment and smart e-learning/training/MOOC platform and build connections amongst RMUTP researchers and the private sector to develop virtual innovation to establish the value of both entrepreneurship and community.

“RMUTP, with these 2 companies, will cooperate to build academic services projects for professional and technical engineering promotion to solve its difficulties and improve manufacturing procedure, including with entrepreneurship service provider for human resources development to gain more competency to meet their qualification and create opportunities to compete in international level,” the president said.
