RMUTP signs MOU with FEPD open opportunities for disabilities reducing social inequalities

 

            On January 21, 2022, Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Foundation for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (FEPD), led by Group Captain Satitpong Athipiromsri, The Chairman of FEPD, to open educational opportunities for equalities development. This MOU aims to curriculum develop and provide integrated learning for graduates to be qualified according to the curriculum. By this time, Mrs. Piyatida Seehawatanakul, the Dean of Faculty of Home Economics Technology, presented the integrated learning of Thai Art Carving on fruits, flowers, and banana leaf decoration at Rabi Badhana Meeting Room, 3rd floor, Office of the president of RMUTP, Thewet Campus, and via online meeting.

            Dr. Natworapol said that this would be a great opportunity to motivate equality education in society. RMUTP always supports the government policy to produce hands-on graduates which is a key to our educational management. We establish the Lifelong Learning Office, provide short courses in various professional fields i.e. food, business, or technology that people living in rural areas or with disabilities have an opportunity to study by reducing social inequalities, apply in their career path to make life stable, and also reflects RMUTP academic advancement for serving the needs of society.
