Presentation by Mr. Adrian Woodhouse on the topic “Culinary Design”

On April 5th, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Supatra Kosaiyakanont, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, warmly welcomed Mr. Adrian Woodhouse, a lecturer from Food Design Institute, Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand as a guest speaker on the topic “Culinary Design” with lecturers and a few students from Home Economics at the Faculty of Home Economic, Chotiwet campus.

The presentation focused on Culinary Creativity, Innovation and Design where it provided additional information for those who are pursuing the related major. The workshop went smoothly with excellent interaction between the speaker and audience. It took the whole day, where the morning session was a verbal presentation by the guest speaker with some exercises, and the afternoon session was a demonstration in the kitchen where they were given a task to prepare one dish from each group. In total, five different creative and innovative dishes were prepared by lecturers and students

Today’s workshop is the startup of a tightening of academic collaboration with Otago Polytechnic before they signed MOU.
