RMUTP Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with RAPA

On February 26, 2016, Assoc. Prof. Supatra Kosaiyakanont, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon warmly welcomed the delegates from Korea Radio Promotion (RAPA) and Treasure Hunter company led by Mr.Yongwoo Chung, Director of K-Content and Distribution Team and Training Planning Department; Mr. Kyoontaek Park, Manager of K-Content Distribution Team; and Mr. Jaeyong Song, CEO of Treasure Hunter company. The purpose of the visit was to sign an academic memorandum of understanding and to discuss future collaborations of mutual interest. The MOU signing ceremony was held at Rabhibadhana meeting room, President Office, Thewet campus.

Korea Radio Promotion abbreviated as RAPA is a Korean government agency under Ministry of Information and Communication of Technology. The current goal of RAPA is to educate and train broadcasters from both domestic and foreign institutes. Moreover, the Korean agency has also created a website in which the contents can be uploaded. The website is called kcontentbank.com. For Treasure Hunter, which is well-known in America, the company is responsible for uploading content on social channels such as Instagram and YouTube.

However, both RAPA and Treasure Hunter company have a mutual goal which is to support and to assist both domestic and international institutes in creating content. Recently, the Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission entered into the agreement regarding broadcaster education and training with RAPA and Treasure Hunter corporation.
