President of UNP visit RMUTP

On February 6, 2015, Assoc. Prof. Supatra Kosaiyakanont, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, together with RMUTP senior executives and deans of 9 faculties warmly welcomed Dr. Gilbert R. Arce, President of University of Northern Philippines, Dr. Generoso Gudelio P. Pajarillo, Coordinator Center for International Studies, and Dr. Christopher Bueno, Secretary for Graduate School at the Rapheephat meeting room in the Office of the President, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Thewet Campus.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss future collaborations in student and lecturer exchange and co-research, and to strengthen the relationship between the two universities.

Situated in Barangay Tamag, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, University of Northern Philippines or UNP was founded in 1906 as Vigan High School and was promoted to a state university in 1965. Nowadays, UNP has 4,500 students and global partnerships with universities in Indonesia and India in both research and students exchange.
