RMUTP CEO Attended Canaan Farmers School in South Korea to Strengthen Leadership Capabilities, Patriotism, and Morality
Assoc. Prof. Supatra Kosaiyakanont, Acting President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon said that RMUTP prepares fast-track leaders to move from mastery of one focused area to success in a broader role therefore RMUTP administrators are going to attend Canaan Global Leadership Program of Canaan Farmers School. The program focuses on stimulating leadership capabilities, patriotism, and also to build desired leaders’ characteristics, for example, patience, scarify, and dedication.
RMUTP sent the first group of administrators consisted of six leaders to Canaan Farmers School namely Asst. Prof. Yutthapoom Suwannavej, Vice-President for Student Affairs and Alumni, Mrs. Juraporn Tantiprasonk, Vice-President for Planning and Infrastructure, Asst.Prof.Nivat Jaruvarakul, Vice-President for Information Technology, Dr. Suwanna Klomjit, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Dr.Surachet Dechphung, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs, and Mr. Thanee Sukontachart, Dean of Faculty of Architecture and Design to attend Canaan Global Leadership Program during 7- 17 November, 2014 in Wonju City, the Republic of Korea, or South Korea.
Canaan Farmers School aims to train leaders based on mindset and life transformation with the slogans; Much Work to Do, Let’s Make It Done, It Can Be Done!, and fulfilling work , service, and scarify starting from oneself, family, community, country, and the world. The program consisted of lecture, analysis and discussion, field work, visiting pioneer organizations both public and private in agriculture, industry, and education.
Canaan Farmers School became the witness for the transformation of South Korea society in 50 years to overcome poverty and became a developed and rich country. RMUTP administrators are expected to benefit from the expertise of Canaan Farmers School and adept the knowledge to fit RMUTP administration to significantly develop the organization.
