The Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Design held a training course for developing community potential on 16-19 March 2010 at Pattaya, in Chonburi province. The courses involved making Batik fabrics, fabric painting techniques, fabric transformation and product decoration. The purposes of this training course were to : 1) develop the knowledge and increase the potential, 2) raise the community income, 3) serve the government’s policy to strengthen the community and eradicate poverty, 4) reduce unemployment and 5) promote the university’s reputation.
