RMUTP Thai Cuisine Exhibition in South Africa

The Thai cuisine exhibition entitled “Thai Kitchen and Thai Ways to the World” organized by RMUTP in South Africa concluded successfully in April 2010.

Assoc. Prof. Duangsuda Taechotirote, the President of RMUTP said the faculty staff and students from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology had presented and demonstrated the traditional Thai food and desserts that were served for the Royal family, aristocrats and commoners in the past. The famous recipes for the exhibition were for example, Thai curry, stir-fried dishes, Thai salad, side dishes and dipping sauce.

Other exhibitions included: 1) famous Thai food and Thai desserts, fruit carving and handiwork 2) Research on technology for food production 3) Traditional Thai incenses extracted from plants and flowers.

Assoc. Prof. Duangsuda Taechotirote during an interview expressed how pleased she was with the achievements of RMUTP’s arts and cultural exhibition abroad and the great welcome they received by their hosts. RMUTP is proud of its successes, and will continue to showcase its talents on the international stage.
