RMUTP is conscious of its responsibility towards the environment and is committed to urgently addressing climate change issues. In alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, President of the university, has declared the commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The main objectives include achieving carbon neutrality by 2045 and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2055. The university aims to reach these targets through collaboration with all members of the university community and by planning both short-term and long-term strategies for energy efficiency in various aspects such as teaching, research, and administrative operations.
