“In life and in your professional careers, our actions, words, and thoughts play a significant role in achieving success. It is therefore essential for everyone to develop a crucial quality—mindfulness and self-awareness. Mindfulness refers to the ability to reflect before thinking, speaking, or acting, while self-awareness is the recognition of one’s thoughts, words, and actions in the present moment. When individuals consistently maintain mindfulness and self-awareness, they can regulate their thoughts, words, and behaviors to remain positive and constructive. This leads to a successful, sustainable, and fulfilling life. I encourage all graduates to cultivate mindfulness and self-awareness as part of their journey.”
