Thailand is a country rich in beautiful culture and traditions, passed down through generations. The way of life for Thai people is abundant with various forms of wisdom, something to take great pride in. One of these is the philosophy of self-sufficient economy, a principle that has been guided by the King, providing guidance for Thais’ way of life for a long time. To pass on this knowledge to the younger generation, the Prime Minister’s Office organized the International Youth Learning Program on the Principles of Self-Sufficient Economy following in the footsteps of His Majesty the King in 2566. The Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon hosted 10 students from the Kingdom of Putthan, studying International Business in the Faculty of Business Administration, to participate in activities. These included lectures on the fundamentals of self-sufficient economy, networking events for international youth, learning activities in rural areas and farming, as well as volunteer activities to restore forest ecosystems. The training covered all aspects of applying the principles of self-sufficient economy, aiming to pay homage to His Majesty and reflect on his ultimate benevolence. Furthermore, it was a means to propagate this respect internationally and promote sustained collaboration for ongoing development.
