On March 29, 2024, Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, and Ms. Mallika Veerasai, Director of Student Development Division, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon at a ceremony to receive a commendation plaque for higher education institutions with the best student loan repayment rates. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Finance’s Vayupak 4 Meeting Room, with Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Finance and the Committee Chairman of Student Loans Fund (SLF), Committee, presenting the awards.
Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae stated that Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon achieved a significant milestone by ranking 3rd nationwide for the best student loan repayment rates, up from 24th place the previous year. The university also topped the Rajamangala University group. This accomplishment reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering moral and ethical values among borrowers, instilling financial discipline, and promoting responsibility in repaying student loans. Such efforts ensure that the fund remains sufficiently replenished to provide future educational opportunities.
The university is currently accepting applications for the academic year 2024 for students graduating from high school (Grade 12), vocational certificates (V.C.), and higher vocational certificates (H.V.C.). More than 2,000 seats are available in 9 faculties for the second round of direct admissions, open from now until May 14, 2024, with a 50% reduction in application fees. To support and provide educational opportunities, the university offers various scholarships each year, including merit-based scholarships, need-based financial aid, behavioral scholarships, scholarships for individuals who bring honor to the university, and scholarships for outstanding skills in arts, music, and sports. Additionally, external organizations and agencies provide numerous scholarships, including those from the Student Loan Fund, ensuring equitable access to education.
