Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, along with university staff from the Student Development Division, International Affairs Subdivision, Policy and Planning Division, participated in the opening ceremony of the “International Youth Representatives in Experiencing the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy 2024 (IYSEP 2024) for the 2024 fiscal year. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Nopporn Boonkaew, Inspector-General to the Prime Minister’s Office, at Grand Howard Hotel, Bangkok.
This year, the project welcomed youth participants from various countries such as China, Myanmar, Indonesia, and more, totaling over 50 students. Among them, 2 international students from Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon’s participated: Ms. Astri Mahsa Elvarita from Indonesia and Ms. Nang Lwant Sang Phwe from Myanmar.
The project aims to allow youth from different countries to learn about the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and the royal initiatives of King Rama IX. It seeks to propagate and preserve the valuable ideas of His Majesty to global youth. International students in the program engaged in activities across various provinces in Thailand from July 2 to 9, 2024, including Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchaburi, and Ratchaburi.
