RMUTP Organizes Awareness Training for Students to Prevent and Address Drug and AIDS Issues

The Student Development Division at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) organized an awareness training for students under the “Drugs & AIDS Awareness” program.    This initiative, supported by the Bangkok Health Insurance Fund, was held on August 22, 2024, at Chotiwet Conference Room, 4th Floor, Ruean Panya Building, Faculty of Home Economics Technology, Chotiwet Campus, with Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, presiding over the opening ceremony.

The morning session featured expert speakers from the Royal Police Cadet Academy who provided knowledge on the topic “The Dangers of Drugs Close to You” and conducted a workshop titled “Building Immunity Against Drugs” (Understanding Drug Dangers / Essential Skills for Drug Prevention or Avoidance / Extending Support to Drug Addicts / Debriefing and Knowledge Summary Activities). In the afternoon, the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand gave a lecture and conducted a workshop on the topic “Safe Love: Preventing Sexually Transmitted Infections” and another workshop titled “Building Immunity for Love” (Skills for Using Condoms / Safe Behavior to Prevent AIDS / Skills for Refusing Risky Behavior / Debriefing and Knowledge Summary Activities).
