Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), through its General Affairs Division, organized the “Safe Driving and Traffic Discipline Training Program 2024” (Professional Driver Development Course). The event was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof.Wimonpan Arpavate Vice-President for Communications and Corporate Image, at the D-Hall Auditorium, Thewet Campus.
The training aimed to enhance knowledge and skills in driving, improve driving attitudes, and strengthen both physical and mental readiness. Participants were educated on the causes of accidents, safe driving techniques, legal and regulatory compliance, and the importance of responsibility and service excellence.
The program featured distinguished guest speakers, including Mr. Apirat Kamsaiphom and his team from the Human Resource and Organization Development Institute. The training covered various topics such as:
Providing impressive service (Service Mind)
Traffic regulations and safe driving techniques
Self-checking of vehicles and basic maintenance
Decision-making and problem-solving in case of accidents
Additionally, practical exercises included emergency response drills to assess reaction times between visual cues and foot responses using a Digital Reaction Time Test. The training was attended by 40 drivers and university staff members interested in enhancing their driving skills and knowledge.
