RMUTP Opens Platform for Showcasing Capabilities at “Rmutp x Gateway at Bang Sue: Opening Doors to All Opportunities” Event

On August 21, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), in collaboration with Gateway at Bang Sue Shopping Center, organized the event “Rmutp X Gateway at Bang Sue: Opening Doors to All Opportunities.” The event aimed to create an ‘Organization of Possibilities’ by showcasing the talents and works of students and the university to the public. The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Nattachote Rugthaicharoencheep, Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Faculty Development, who also participated in a fashion show with models from the Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Design.

The management team of Gateway at Bang Sue presented certificates of appreciation to the Faculty of Architecture and Design for their mural painting under the theme “Bang Sue Memories,” which blends cartoon and doodle art styles to reflect the history of the Bang Sue district. This mural serves as a backdrop for a photo corner where the public can check-in on the M floor of Gateway at Bang Sue.

The event aimed to showcase the university’s capabilities to both internal and external audiences, including students, the general public, and business operators. Various activities were featured during the event, such as a Thai contemporary song singing competition for high school students, where the winners of the RMUTP Singing Award 2024 were Ms.Panida Khunthong from Rattanathibate School in the female category and Mr.Kongkidakorn Chankhu from Wat Khemapirataram School in the male category. There were also demonstrations of Thai martial arts by the RMUTP Combat Sports Club, crossword competitions, and the 17th Pranakorn Games E-Sport competition.

Additionally, academic exhibitions, curriculum introductions, and student recruitment for the 2025 academic year were presented by nine faculties and two institutes, including:

Faculty of Liberal Arts: Gamification for sustainable learning, digital recreation for smart cities, and 11th-century tourism learning routes

Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Design: Fashion show designs by students and the community

Faculty of Architecture and Design: AR technology and 3D printing photography activities

Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotics Institute: Dobot robotic arm demonstrations and technological innovations

Institute of Gemology Thai Jewelry and Design: Learning and demonstrating jewelry making

Organizational Communications: Tarot card reading for academic success with Mo Meen.

The event, held from August 21-23, 2024, successfully attracted students, teachers, parents, and the general public.
