On August 24, 2024, Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, presided over the closing ceremony of the “17th Pranakorn Games,” held from August 19-24, 2024. The ceremony was attended by university administrators, faculty members, and students.
During the event, cheerleading and parade competitions were held among the nine faculties. The Faculty of Business Administration emerged as the overall sports champion with 39 medals in total, comprising 22 gold, 9 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
Second place went to the Faculty of Liberal Arts, with 24 medals (6 gold, 3 silver, and 15 bronze).
Third place went to the Faculty of Home Economics Technology, with 25 medals (5 gold, 13 silver, and 7 bronze).
Fourth place went to Faculty of Mass Communication Technology, with 18 medals (4 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze).
Fifth place went to the Faculty of Engineering, with 15 medals (3 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze).
Sixth place went to the Faculty of Science and Technology, with 15 medals (3 gold, 2 silver, and 10 bronze).
Seventh place went to the Faculty of Industrial Education, with 5 medals (2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze).
Eighth place went to the Faculty of Architecture and Design, with 8 medals (1 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze).
Ninth place went to the Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Design, with 5 medals (1 silver and 4 bronze).
The Faculty of Mass Communication Technology won the cheerleading and cheerleader leader competitions. The event aimed to provide students with teamwork experience, learning to win, lose, and forgive, staying away from drugs, and building self-discipline and unity among students from the nine faculties. This prepares them to be quality graduates ready to enter the professional world with value in society. The event took place at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Salaya Campus.
