RMUTP forwards the ‘Books for Friends’ program to Year 4 students.”

“The President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) and the Chairman inaugurated the ‘Books for Friends’ program for Year 4 students. The current educational system focuses on students as the center by seeking knowledge they are interested in from books and classroom learning materials. However, limitations in budget and personal resources in rural school libraries result in insufficient learning materials. As a consequence, students do not have adequate access to various sources of knowledge. RMUTP collaborates with Bangkok Business Newspaper and Chulalongkorn Bookstore to bring happiness to the youth through the ‘Books for Friends’ program, now in its fourth year. They distributed books and educational materials to Kaoyoi Vocational College in Nong Chum Phlo, Kaoyoi District, Phetchaburi Province. A total of 12 boxes were donated, comprising engineering textbooks, accounting books, and general reading materials. Mr. Detchanarong Rodsung, the director of Kaoyoi Vocational College, received the donation, providing students with enhanced access to knowledge and promoting a greater love for reading among Thai youth.”
