On March 21, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nattachote Rugthaicharoencheep, Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Faculty Development at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, inaugurated the “Effective Communication in English” project. The event took place at the Language Institute classroom on the 5th floor of the Ratchaburi Direkrit Building, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Thewet Campus.
The project aims to enhance the English language skills of the university’s staff, equipping them to contribute to the institution’s international standards of education and to communicate effectively with foreigners. The skills gained are intended to be applied in daily life and future work contexts.
Over 30 faculty and staff participated in the training, which featured Mr. Alvin Espiritu Bersamin, a lecturer at the Language Institute, as the keynote speaker. The training covered a range of topics, including:
Introducing yourself and other people
Discussing past events and experiences
Understanding different kinds of negotiation
