On August 29, 2024, Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), presided over the opening ceremony of the training program “The Safety Hunter,” which was held from August 29-30, 2024, at the Krom Luang Conference Room, 6th Floor, Faculty of Industrial Education, RMUTP, Thewet Campus. The event was honored by the presence of Mr.Thienchai Wongsuwan, Director of the Dusit District Office, who attended the opening ceremony. Students from nine faculties of the university participated in the program, which aimed to equip them with knowledge and skills in survival thinking and injury prevention from road accidents. It also aimed to provide knowledge and skills in first aid and basic life support, as well as to raise awareness among students about the severity of different types of accidents. The training was supported by the Bangkok Health Insurance Fund and the Dusit District Office, and featured guest speakers, including Pol. Col. Sorapong Nakayoki, Director of the Operations Division, Traffic Police Division, Royal Thai Police, and his team. They demonstrated and conducted practical training on various important topics, such as “Safety Skills and First Aid,” “Traffic Laws and Road Etiquette,” “Dangers and Risks of Road Accidents,” and “Survival Thinking Skills and Injury Prevention from Road Accidents,” among others.
