RMUTP Staff Participate in the Closing Ceremony of the 40th Thailand University Staff Games “Ang Kaew Games 2024”

The 40th Thailand Staff Games, “Ang Kaew Games 2024,” hosted by Chiang Mai University from May 31 to June 9, 2024, concluded successfully and beautifully.

On June 9, 2024, at the Chiang Mai University Auditorium, the closing ceremony of the “Ang Kaew Games 2024” was honored by Prof. Dr. Pongrak Sribunditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University, who presided over the event and handed over the responsibility to Walailak University, the host for the next year. This year, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) secured six medals, placing 40th out of 72 universities. The medals include one gold medal in the Men’s Individual Golf (ages 46-60) won by Asst. Prof. Dr. Phupoom Puangcharoenchai from the Faculty of Engineering, one silver medal in the Women’s IN LINE RACE Cycling (W2, under 29 years) won by Ms. Kornkanok Maichit from the Faculty of Textile Industry and Fashion Design, and four bronze medals. The bronze medals were earned in the following events:

1.Women’s 3,000-Meter Race Walk (under 29 years) by Ms. Boonyavee Worasetthakoon from the Institute of Academic Support and Registration.

2.Standard Dance – Tango (General Single Dance) by Sub Lt. Srattra Lengpaiboon from the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Ms. Piyaporn Noicharoen From Faculty of Business Administration.

3.Latin American Dance – Rumba (General Single Dance) by Sub Lt. Srattra Lengpaiboon, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Liberal Arts, and Ms. Piyaporn Noicharoen from the Faculty of Business Administration.

4.ESPORT Women’s Team by Ms. Sakulnitra Trachu from the Personnel Division, Ms. Kornkanok Maichit from the Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Design, Ms. Thipawan Khamphanit from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ms. Raphiphan Kamjun from the Student Development Division, Ms. Boonyavee Worasetthakoon from the Institute of Academic Support and Registration, and Ms. Warangkana Amornkaew from the Institute of Academic Support and Registration.

Additionally, RMUTP received honorable mentions in Latin American Dance – Samba (General Single Dance) by Sub Lt. Srattra Lengpaiboon, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Liberal Arts, and Ms. Piyaporn Noicharoen from the Faculty of Business Administration, as well as in Latin American Dance – Rumba (General Single Dance) by Mr. Naratch Kasemmongkolthada from the Student Development Division and Ms. Thitirat Rattanapan from the Institute of Academic Support and Registration.
