Mechatronics students from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Mr. Saengchai Saichomphu and Mr. Sukkrit Klindokkaew, won the first runner-up prize in the Manufacturing and Engineering Technology category (Mechatronics, Team category) at the 30th National Skills Competition, Regional Level for Central Thailand. The competition was held from July 9-12, 2024, at the Skill Development Institute No. 4 in Ratchaburi. Dr. Watchara Songsoem, a lecturer in the Mechatronics program, served as their advisor. This competition, organized by the Skill Development Institute No. 4 in Ratchaburi in collaboration with partner networks, provided a platform for young people to showcase their skills in various professions they have been trained in. This round of the competition was the regional final, featuring 21 events. More than 1,600 young competitors from across the country participated simultaneously in four regional groups: The Central Region at Skill Development Institute No. 4 in Ratchaburi, the Northeastern Region at Skill Development Institute No. 6 in Khon Kaen, the Northern Region at Skill Development Institute No. 8 in Nakhon Sawan, and the Southern Region at Skill Development Institute No. 12 in Songkhla. The goal was to select the top three winners in each event, totaling 336 participants, who will advance to compete in the 30th National Skills Competition. The Mechatronics student team from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon will represent the Central Region in the upcoming 30th National Skills Competition, which will be held in 2025.
