RMUTP Develops Student Leaders for Desired Graduate Outcomes

On March 18, 2024, Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, presided over the opening and delivered a keynote speech at the “Leadership Development Seminar for Student Activities” for the academic year 2024. The seminar, held from March 18 to 23, 2024, took place at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon and Cha-am Eco Camp Resort in Phetchaburi Province. It was attended by 120 students from nine faculties.

The objective of this project is to prepare and develop students to become graduates with desirable characteristics and to advance their educational curricula and skills to keep pace with technological changes. It aims to enhance students’ knowledge and abilities in current scientific and technological advancements while fostering an understanding of their roles in society, promoting harmonious coexistence.

The university has organized this project by students, for students, which will help them apply what they have learned in their future careers and instill a sense of social and national responsibility.

The program featured various interesting activities, including:

Group activities, lectures, and practical exercises on topics such as techniques for organizing recreational activities for student leaders, psychology and adaptation for student leaders, personal development and etiquette for modern leaders, roles and best practices for student leaders, and planning for student activities.

Teamwork training, knowledge exchange on operational processes, and student leader policy statements.

Elections for the Student Council President, Student Organization President, and various committee members.

These activities are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for effective leadership and community engagement.
